well, there is a big fishtank here at the faculty, with turtles in them, which we spent hours watching. And those guys may not be fast, but they sure keep on trying. So i can imagine that a turtle might keep climbing up a wall/obstacle to the rim of the fishtank untill he finally succeeds at the end.

their backbones are attached to the underside
of the upper shell... rather freaky, eh?
Hmmm, well, not as freaky as spineless turtles that would sort of ooze out of the shell as soon as you shake it a bit [img]tongue.gif[/img]
